E3 is just around the corner, but Nintendo already started to give us awesome news about their new console, Wii U. Aside from showing a slightly redesigned Wii U GamePad, a more traditional Wii U Pro controller, Miiverse (Nintendo going social in a big way, finally!) and some other stuff, they also presented this brilliant commercial. Starring Hipster Guy, Non-specific action figure and Grandpa gamer, it's really something you should see. And for the whole 30-minute Nintendo Direct presentation, go over here.
Well, here's the latest trailer for Marc Webb's The Amazing Spider-man, which debuted earlier today on Apple. That's all.
Edit: After a while of thinking, I guess I'm starting to get really excited about this movie. Andrew Garfield and Mirror Edge-like shots still don't sell it to me, but the trailer looks, well, Amazing :)
Frankenweenie is remake of Burton's 1984 short film. It's inspired by Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, however instead of being about a doctor and his monster, it's about a small boy, Victor, who brings his deceased pet dog, Sparky, back to life. The movie is set for release on October 5, 2012 and you can watch the trailer below. (By the way, the animation seems to be done much in the same way as Burton's short film from 1982, Vincent. The main characters also seem to be pretty similar. You know what, just watch Vincent here and make your own opinion :D.)
Marvel's Avengers trailer finally arrived, putting Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye all under Nick Fury's command. Although I'm not a big fan of Scarlett's Black Widow and Hawkeye in general, the rest of the trailer I like. Even yet another Dr. Bruce Banner, mocked by Tony Stark :D Let's hope director Joss Whedon does not screw it up (don't get me wrong, I love Buffy, but I'm not sure he's the right type for this kind of movie) and look forward to next summer! You can watch the trailer on iTunes or below (however, the youtube link will no doubt be down in a matter of hours).
"Vegas, Baby" is a short film introducing 3rd series of Misfits and a convenient way to get rid of Nathan (at least for now), played by Robert Sheehan. It also shows us a new character, who will be replacing Nathan in the series. The episode was released on September 15th here. If you can't watch it there, I'm putting a link to youtube below along with a trailer for the new series, enjoy!
The first trailer for Max Payne 3 is here! Typical noir music and Payne's classic monologue set in sunny Sao Paulo? I'm not sure how it'll work out, but let's hope for the best.
Here's the first trailer for Marvel's upcoming Captain America movie. It is scheduled for release on July 22, 2011, but you can watch some footage of really small and skinny Chris Evans (playing Steve Rogers, or Cap) hiding behind the lid of rubbish bin become really big and definitely not skinny super soldier throwing his shield at Nazis and Hydra thugs below. Enjoy.
Here's the brand new trailer for yet another Marvel movie, Thor. I really enjoy watching its "movieverse" expand and I'm looking forward to seeing this movie, along with upcoming Captain America, The Avengers, The Amazing Spider-Man and others... But back to the trailer: it looks like Chris Hemsworth makes a really good Thor and the movie will follow in Iron Mans steps (meaning it's going to blow your mind - as much as a movie about a Norse god wielding a BFH - Big Fucking Hammer - who's also a superhero can). Watch it below.
Watch the first trailer for new X-Men movie, which is to be released on June 3, 2011. The trailer does not reveal that much, but offers an interesting first view on young Professor X, Magneto and other X-Men. So, what are you waiting for?
